eight days a week | bradford
March 21st, 2016

Eight Days a Week is a project meant to encourage and inspire its participants (a fabulous group of photographers from across North America) to document what they see and to share it with the world. There are no “rules” – there is only vulnerability in the sharing of our own variations on the topic.

For my part, I’ve decided to turn my camera to those people that I call friend. They are my most important relationships. They are who I run to eight days a week – in joy and in sadness. I owe them everything.

“Stay close to anything that makes you glad you are alive.” -Hafez

Bradford. He is my biggest fan. My ally. He roots me in what matters. His patience, insight, and support nourish me. He is grounded, committed, hard-working and steady. He is the calm in my storm.

Now, follow the blog circle to see the offerings of the talented Meghann Prouse.

“Believe me, my young friend, there is NOTHING –absolutely nothing– half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”

Kenneth Grahame, from “The Wind in the Willows”

Well, here the two of you are sanding down the boat in preparation for fresh paint. Owning a wooden boat is a lot of work. But, it’s all worth it in the end. It’s almost time to take her out, and the two of you could not be more excited.
